Asbestos removal must, of course, be carried out in accordance with applicable law.
Handling of hazardous waste such as building materials containing asbestos therefore should only be carried out by specially trained and certified employees.
Not complying to this procedure is strictly prohibited, and, of course, all asbestos employees at IKAS Isolering A/S are academically equipped to work safely with asbestos removal.
At IKAS Isolering A/S we slavishly follow
Arbejdstilsynets Bekendtgørelse nr. 1502 af 21. december 2004
IKAS Isolering A/S is your competent partner for disposal of asbestos. We know everything about asbestos.
Asbestos clean-up itself is only part of the overall task. It is equally important to deposit the waste after having been removed – following all requirements.
We of course in this context follow all existing regulations and laws and we refer, among other, to the following article regarding.asbestos waste and asbestos removal:
§ 31. Asbestos dust and dusty asbestos containing waste, filters and the like should be retained and disposed in a humidified condition – in a suitable, closed packaging – being marked with the information that it contains asbestos.
Stk. 2. Asbestos containing dusty waste, such as. soft ceiling boards and wallboards, must during storage and transport be humidified and covered, so that the emission of dust into the surroundings is being prevented.
Stk. 3. Furthermore disposal must also be done after the Environment Ministry’s regulations, see. Executive Order No. 619 of 27. June 2000 on waste.
